Deer collared on Sept 28
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife Bay-Delta Region is working to deploy 10 GPS survival collars on female deer throughout the East Bay and Santa Cruz Mountains. A doe was collared at Quail Hollow County Park on September 28, 2026. You may see her in the area while you are out on the trails. The collar is a GPS/VHF radio collar which tracks her movements and sends locations via satellite every few hours. The collar has been fitted carefully and will not impact her
