Friends of Quail Hollow Ranch is an all-volunteer organization that is dedicated to improving and preserving Quail Hollow’s ecosystem as an exceptional habitat for native plants and animals.  We implement and fund projects to help visitors of all ages to better appreciate, respect and be inspired by the park’s beauty and biodiversity.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 2013 thanks to the leadership of park volunteer, Jim Williams. Jim and the founding Board Members (Renee Shepherd, Donna Ziel, Janie Tibbals and Nancy Macy) realized that the park had been suffering from county budget cuts in spite of a stellar county maintenance team and an amazing group of over 100 volunteers who annually removed invasive non-natives, restored and expanded trails, enhanced bird habitat (including the installation and monitoring of nest boxes), improved the grounds, performed repairs to the aging ranch house (and provided seasonal decorations). Thanks to volunteers working with county parks maintenance, a list of projects and improvements were identified and we are working to promote the community’s awareness of these needs and raise the necessary funds.

To donate, stop by the donation boxes at the park, or for larger donations, reach out to us via the contact page, or use the button above for PayPal or credit card donations.  ALL donations except for a few dollars a year for our PO Box go to improving the park or making the visitor experience richer.  Go to our Projects page to see where our donations get spent.  Thank you so much.
